… what the competition is charging
… or a million other things like funnels, best-selling books, media appearances, and more. But the real reason your clients won’t pay high-ticket has very little to do with ANY of that stuff.
In fact, you could have ALL that other stuff dialed in and STILL struggle to enroll a steady stream of clients at $3,000 to $10,000. Yet many of our clients do just that week in and week out.
So what makes the difference? Let’s take a look…
TRYING IT OUT VS. FIGURING IT OUT
Lost of people want to “try out” the high-ticket business model. They want to see IF it’ll work for them. Test the waters before diving in. Dabble.
That is a recipe for failure.
Our most successful clients are the ones who dove in head first. They committed to the process and declared this was the way they were going to build their business. Period.
Then, they get to work. They follow a proven system. They get support. Take massive action. And keep going no matter how hard it gets.
They know if anyone can, they can. It’s just a matter of figuring it out.
That is a recipe for success.
In other words, one group comes in willing to “try it out.” The other comes in committed to “figuring it out.” Huge difference.
I’LL BELIEVE IT WHEN… VS. I BELIEVE
It’s easy to spot the dabblers. The folks just trying out this high-ticket coaching thing. Because they are always waiting to believe when they see X result. They’ll believe it when…
… their webinar starts converting
… their calendar gets full
… they get a client who pays in full
On the other hand, the top 1% believe first. They believe before they have results to back up those beliefs. They believe…
… this is what I’m worth from now on
… what I do transforms lives and is worth every penny of a high-ticket offer
… what doesn’t work is just data for what will work
In short, they DECLARE they will have a successful business. And then go out and find the support and the strategy to turn that belief into reality. They don’t wait “until” to believe.
But where does that kind of thinking come from? It comes from certainty…
CERTAINTY: THE KEY THAT UNLOCKS THE VAULT
Certainty doesn’t mean you have all the answers. It does mean you are confident you can find the answers.
Certainty doesn’t mean you will never be scared or have doubts. It does mean you’ll keep fighting despite those fears and doubts.
Certainty doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy. It means you understand that no matter how hard it gets, you believe it’ll be worth it.
It’s the same thinking the founding fathers of America used to DECLARE the country into existence. They declared independence from tyranny. They were CERTAIN they could rule themselves better than some king who was 4,400 miles away.
THEN the war for freedom started. The work didn’t really start until AFTER they believed and committed to a NEW way of living.
If you’re reading this and are thinking, “Man, I don’t have that kind of certainty. I guess I’m screwed,” think again.
Because you can always borrow certainty and belief. Sometimes you’ll need to borrow from others. And sometimes you can borrow from one area of your life and apply it to another.
Either way, there are two key questions you can use to unlock more certainty in your life:
- What CAN I believe right now?
For instance, if you don’t yet believe you can sell someone at a high-ticket price, can you believe you are a phenomenal coach? If so, that’s a belief you can build on.
Look for what you can believe right now and then focus on expanding that belief to other areas. Next ask…
- Where can I borrow some certainty right now?
Is there anyone in your niche, or another, who IS charging high-ticket? Can you find a reason to believe you are as smart, or as talented, or as hardworking as they are? Is there a group you can join so that you are surrounded by others who are doing what you want to do?
If so, get in there and let the certainty of others rub off on you.
STRATEGY + SUPPORT + CERTAINTY = HIGH-TICKET SUCCESS
The real reason your clients won’t pay you high-ticket is because you lack the belief and certainty that they will pay. It’s the false beliefs you’ve created around high-ticket coaching that keep you from actually enrolling clients at a premium price.
